Description

Overview

The Datalogic QuickScan Lite QW2100 linear imager is an entry-level, high-performance barcode scanner designed for retail, light manufacturing, document/bill processing, and banking/finance environments. Specifically engineered to read truncated or long barcodes, which are common in certain regions, it provides reliable and efficient data capture for a variety of applications.

Lightweight and ergonomic, the QW2100 is comfortable for long daily operations. Its fast scanning performance supports most 1D barcodes, including longer and wider codes typically found on utility bills and electronic components. The laser-like thinner and brighter scan line allows scanning at wide angles without increasing the scanning distance. The scanner is also compatible with a collapsible stand, which can function as a holder and features a tiltable head for multiple angle settings.

The QW2100 is available with USB or Keyboard Wedge/RS-232 interfaces and can be packaged as a scanner-only unit or a kit with cable and stand for hands-free operations. It comes with Datalogic Aladdin configuration software, offering a user-friendly quick start procedure suitable for inexperienced users.
